How to Hail a Taxi

First go outside and start looking for vehicles taxis. Taxis are usually yellow with a sign on top that of the car that says taxi or it may have some other distinguishing marks depending on the company. Once you are sure that it is a taxi, stand on the curb near the street and try to get their attention before they pass you by. Some people will wave their hands and arms and shout taxi or they will whistle very loudly. When the driver stops for you be sure to tell them where you would like to go and ask if they would be willing to take you. Once everything has been agreed upon, get into the vehicle and buckle your seat belts.
